AINU, or Artificial Intelligence of the Nucleus, is a groundbreaking AI tool designed to improve early disease diagnosis by distinguishing between cancerous and normal cells and detecting early viral infections. Developed through collaboration among several prestigious institutions, AINU utilizes advanced microscopy (STORM) to capture nanoscale images, allowing it to detect cellular changes as small as 20 nanometers. The AI is based on a convolutional neural network, enabling it to analyze and classify cell nuclei with high accuracy.

AINU’s potential applications include more accurate and rapid disease diagnostics and aiding stem cell research by precisely identifying pluripotent stem cells.
